Ambitious salesperson with a focus on kitchens, a sense of interior design, and a passion for sustainability

Since we first introduced IKEA hacking 10 years ago, we have led the way in innovation in the industry and have experienced high demand for our carpenter-produced kitchen, bathroom, and wardrobe solutions that can be customized to individual customer wishes and dreams. We are passionate about creating beautiful and sustainable solutions, and about working in a company where there is room for everyone and where the work environment is top-notch.

We are looking for both traveling salespeople and salespeople for our showroom in Copenhagen – or a combination of the two.

Your primary tasks will be:

  • sales, customer meetings, and customer dialogue
  • design of kitchen, bathroom, and wardrobe solutions
  • preparation of quotes
  • measuring existing kitchens (traveling salesperson)

Your profile:

  • You are passionate about sales and can document your sales experience.
  • You have extensive experience with designing custom solutions.
  • You have experience in the kitchen industry, or from the design and interior decorating industry, where you have also designed and sold kitchens.
  • You are empathetic and skilled at putting yourself in the customers’ shoes. You love providing excellent service and customer advice, and can efficiently find and close the right solution for the customer.
  • You are good with numbers and quick to familiarize yourself with new systems.
  • You are skilled at communication: you speak and write flawless Danish and are strong in written and spoken English. If you are familiar with the Norwegian or Swedish market and speak one of these languages, it is an advantage.
  • You take responsibility, and work independently and in a structured manner.
  • You are eager to contribute good ideas and help create a positive workplace for yourself and your colleagues.
  • You are prepared to work 1-2 late afternoons per week and 1-2 weekends per month.

We have an office and showroom in the city center of Copenhagen, where you will be working from, or have your base as a traveling salesperson.
